Understanding Business Basics: CulDif Project’s Second Gathering in Narva

On September 21st, 2024, the CulDif project held its second meeting in Narva. The meeting focused on the fundamentals of business and entrepreneurship. Participants explored key business terms and concepts while learning the practical steps for legally establishing a company in Estonia through e-business register portal. They also gained insights into different business structures and learned about the legal obligations and reporting requirements for new businesses in the country.

The session was divided into two main parts:
Career Exploration: Entrepreneurship vs Salaried Employment (Employers vs Employees). Participants learned about the opportunities and challenges of both career paths, identifying how these formats can fit into different life situations.

Company Formation and Reporting:
The second half of the meeting covered the practical steps of starting a private limited company in Estonia, ongoing reporting obligations, and the legal frameworks young entrepreneurs need to know. Different types of business structures etc.
