We kindly invite you to register for the final event of the Silver Strategies project, which will take place in person on 22 May 2025 at the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 35 K. Valdemāra Street, Riga. Registration is free of charge, but the number of places is limited. The event will be held in English. The Silver Strategies project is co-financed by the Interreg Central Baltic programme.

About the Project:
The main goal of the Silver Strategies project is to improve labor market opportunities for people of pre-retirement and retirement age (“silver” age, 55+). The aim is to develop joint anti-discrimination strategies for Central Baltic companies and implement the defined activities within these companies. Common Labor Market Challenges in the Central Baltic Region:

  • Population aging, pressure on social systems, and senior well-being
  • Labor shortages and a lack of certain skills in the labor market
  • The underutilized economic potential of the 55+ age group
  • The untapped potential of flexible work formats, such as part-time and remote work


Silver Strategies is the first attempt to initiate anti-discrimination measures and strategies at both regional and company levels to support the employment of seniors.
