Kick off in Tartu 4–6 March
Spring is in the air—the sun is shining, birds are singing and the season of new beginnings has arrived. What a wonderful way to begin our first training day, surrounded by a program full of young and talented people!
26 participants were selected to the first cycle of Baltic Circular Threads programme. 14 from Estonia and 12 from Finland.
Maret Ahonen started the morning with a fun warm up game to break the ice. Everyone got to know eath other better and the room was filled with positive vibes.




Head of Tartu Centre of Creative Industries Külli Hansen welcomed the participants and talked about entrepreneuership, all the pains and gains in the industry.

N-20 Studio founders shared their mission and experience, and everyone had the opportunity to take a look at their beautifully designed bags. The presentation concluded with a lively Q&A session, where participants asked a wide variety of questions.

Triinu Hansen explained the concept of a business model and introduced the Business Model Canvas. Participants also had the opportunity to practice using this one-page strategic management template, which helps visualize, design, and evaluate the key drivers of a business model.

Maria Laanelepp talked about design thinking and conducted a practical excersise about exploring user experience.

Triin Rebbas talked about how to be your own coach and how to be a better leader, to take risks and believe in your visions.

Kristiina Kaldre focused on importance of storytelling and how to tell a compelling story.
