Creative EnterPath

Creative EnterPath supports people aged 50+ in Latgale, Latvia, and South-East Estonia who want to turn their creative hobbies and practical skills into small sustainable businesses. These rural border regions face limited employment opportunities, shrinking local markets and the need for new income possibilities close to home. The project responds to this challenge by helping participants develop entrepreneurship, digital marketing, pricing, branding and online sales skills. Through a joint Latvian–Estonian training and mentoring programme, participants will learn how to develop products or services, test business ideas and reach customers beyond their local communities. In this way, Creative EnterPath creates a practical pathway from creative skills to entrepreneurship.

Expected results

Creative EnterPath will involve 80 participants aged 50+, including 40 from Latgale and 40 from South-East Estonia, in a 12-week cross-border entrepreneurship programme. At least 64 participants are expected to complete the programme with improved entrepreneurship skills and developed business models, product or service ideas, and first steps towards market entry. The project will also create multilingual training materials in English, Latvian and Estonian, which can be reused after the project. The 20 most promising entrepreneurial results will be documented, promoted online and presented through travelling exhibitions in Latvia and Estonia. As a result, the project will strengthen entrepreneurship confidence, support new income opportunities and show that creative skills can become real economic value in rural border regions.
