Silver to Platinum helps people aged 55+ in Latvia, Estonia and Finland turn their valuable professional experience into a stronger position in the labour market.
Why is the project needed?
People aged 55+ possess extensive knowledge, skills and experience. However, rapid changes in the labour market, digitalisation and new forms of workplace communication can create additional challenges, particularly for people living in rural and border regions. Strengthening communication skills and confidence can help experienced adults remain active, competitive and visible in the labour market.
What will the project do?
The project will develop and deliver a multilingual, hybrid training programme for 135 participants aged 55+, with 45 participants from each participating country. Three rounds of the three-month programme will combine live online training, gamified self-study, collaborative assignments, individual mentoring and international two-day bootcamps involving entrepreneurs and employers.
The programme will strengthen participants’ verbal and non-verbal communication, presentation, digital communication and networking, emotional intelligence, intercultural cooperation and other workplace communication skills. Participants will also develop a personal portfolio demonstrating their knowledge, competences and professional experience.
What will change?
By the end of the project, at least 108 participants are expected to have improved their competitiveness in the labour market. Participants will gain greater confidence, practical communication skills, new international contacts and tools for presenting their professional experience more effectively. Graduates of the programme will receive a certificate and a personal portfolio.
