Early-stage startups are facing increasing difficulties in securing funding, particularly in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Startups that are equipped with agile, lean development approaches, and especially those leveraging digitalization and AI, have a stronger potential to scale successfully.
Grow Nordic and Baltic offers a cross-border, jointly designed scale-up process that brings together ecosystem partners from Finland, Sweden, and Estonia.
The project offers a structured, six-stage programme combining tailored coaching, market access, expert support, and investment readiness activities to accelerate growth. Through this approach, the project aims to help a significant number of startups reach scale-up status while strengthening long-term cross-border collaboration and ecosystem impact.
Grow Nordic and Baltic aims at reaching 64 startup companies, out of which at least 30 scale up successfully.
The cross-border impact of the project lies in connecting startup ecosystems across Finland, Sweden, and Estonia to provide startups with wider access to markets, investors, and expertise. By combining resources and networks from multiple countries, the project enables startups to overcome limitations of national ecosystems and accelerate their growth. This collaboration creates new market opportunities and strengthens the overall capacity of startups to scale internationally. As a result, it contributes to a more integrated, competitive, and resilient Nordic-Baltic startup ecosystem.
