The project will address the joint challenge of unemployment among young people (18-29), who are educated in linguistic professions with restricted career opportunities in Latvia, Estonia and Finland. These limitations often push target group representatives into long-term unemployment or force them to accept poorly paid low-skilled jobs with minimal prospects for growth.
Project overall objective is to co-design and co-deliver a comprehensive cross-border training course, which will upskill target group representatives for the sales-related profession of Client Success Manager, which is in growing demand on today’s labour market. This solution is both well-grounded and viable, as linguists already possess a relevant set of transferable skills for this role and have strong potential to succeed.
The partners will jointly develop and conduct a comprehensive cross-border training course consisting of 12 events and 140 learning hours. Trainees will benefit from direct interactions with sales professionals, recruiters and career experts from Latvia, Estonia and Finland, get exposed to varied corporate cultures and workplace practices, and study real-life job cases from three countries. These factors, combined with match-making activities, will significantly enhance their international employability.
A total of 100 individuals will be enrolled in the course during two cycles. It is expected that 20 persons will achieve a labour contract and 16 – work affiliation, thus improving their well-being and acting as agents of change for unemployed young people with limited career opportunities.
Exercises delivered during the course will be consolidated into a Training Material Handbook and widely disseminated to stakeholders in the Programme Area and beyond.
