Project name:

Next-Level Sales: Upskilling young people for the profession of Client Success Manager in Latvia, Estonia and Finland (acronym: Next-Level Sales)

Project aim:

A common cross-border challenge is the unemployment risk faced by young people aged 18–29 with backgrounds in linguistic professions and limited career opportunities in Latvia, Estonia and Finland. At the same time, the growing demand for professionals who can successfully manage customer relationships and combine sales, communication and digital skills creates new opportunities for their employment.

Therefore, the overall objective of the project is to jointly develop and implement a comprehensive cross-border training course consisting of 12 events and 140 learning hours, preparing participants for the profession of Client Success Manager. The course will combine professional training with practical experience, digital and AI-based tools, Mystery Shopping, career guidance and direct interaction with employers.

Cross-border cooperation will allow participants to benefit from the expertise of sales professionals, recruiters and career experts from three countries, explore different corporate cultures and workplace practices, and strengthen their opportunities for employment both nationally and internationally. Through training and match-making activities, the project aims to improve participants’ competitiveness in the labour market and support their transition into employment.

Project activities:

The comprehensive cross-border training course will last for 9 months, comprise 12 face-to-face events and 140 learning hours, and will be conducted twice: in Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. Participants will develop and practise competencies required for the profession of Client Success Manager, including customer relations and sales-related skills, the creation of AI-based agents, and the use of Mystery Shopping.

The training will have a strong practical focus and involve sales professionals, recruiters and career experts from Latvia, Estonia and Finland. Participants will practise self-presentation and job interviews, take part in “speed dating” and other match-making activities with employers, and work with real-life cases reflecting different corporate cultures and workplace practices.

A cross-border Help Point with six career experts will provide additional support throughout the course. The combination of professional training, practical assignments and direct interaction with employers will help participants strengthen their employability and prepare for entering the labour market.

Results planned:

82 final-year students and recent graduates aged 18–29 from Latvia, Estonia and Finland will be active participants in the training course during 2 cycles. The project targets young people with backgrounds in linguistic professions with limited labour market demand who are NEETs or at risk of becoming NEETs.

Participants will develop skills for the high-demand profession of Client Success Manager and take part in match-making activities aimed at supporting their transition into employment. It is expected that 20 participants will obtain an employment contract and 16 participants will establish another form of work affiliation as a result of the project.

Trainees will receive a joint Certificate of Completion signed by the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies, Tampere University of Applied Sciences and Estonian Business School, confirming the acquired skills in Client Success Management and the completed training hours. The hours can be recognised as credit points within formal education.

The combination of targeted upskilling, match-making activities and formal recognition of the acquired skills will strengthen participants’ competitiveness and improve their opportunities in the labour market.

Project duration:

1st July 2026 – 30th September 2028
