CLEAN Beach final workshop in Latvia: practical demonstration of beach monitoring method and a discussion

Interested stakeholders in Latvia are invited to the final seminar of CLEAN Beach project in Latvia. The event will take place on September 17, 2026. During the event the focus will be on the beach sand pollution monitoring guidelines developed during the project and there will be a practical demonstration.

The seminar is organized in the framework of project “Strengthening Microplastic Monitoring as a Public Service for Cleaner Beach (CLEAN Beach)” project, implemented under the Interreg Central Baltic Programme. The project brings together partners from Estonia, Latvia and Finland to improve and harmonize microplastic monitoring on Baltic Sea beaches.
