Preparing for Success: Lead Partner Seminar for Approved Projects

On 10–11 June 2025, the Joint Secretariat hosted a Lead Partner Seminar in Helsinki, Finland, for projects approved and contracted under the Central Baltic Programme’s Fourth Call for Proposals.

We were pleased to welcome representatives from 43 newly approved projects, all set to bring positive change to the Central Baltic region. The seminar provided a valuable opportunity for project representatives to connect, share ideas, and prepare for a successful launch.

The two-day event focused on the Lead Partner’s role and responsibilities, covering key aspects of project management and implementation. Each project had a chance to briefly introduce itself and begin building connections with fellow participants.

Key topics included:
  • Eligibility rules and communication requirements
  • Guidance from the programme’s national Contact Points, who presented their roles and the support they offer to projects
  • Practical tips on how to effectively communicate project achievements and results
The seminar also featured two inspiring guest speakers:
  • Jini Nälsen from Movexum, who shared insights from the NB Scale and GSAI  (new) projects on how to build strong project partnerships.
  • Sonja Jaari from the John Nurminen Foundation, who presented lessons from the BalticReed project on how to tell your project’s story and share results effectively.

We thank both speakers for their valuable contributions.

As our Lead Partners begin their project journeys, we are confident they are well-equipped with the knowledge and tools needed for success. We wish all participants the very best in the months ahead!
