CulDif kick-off workshop at SAMK, Pori Finland
On October 5, 2024, the Pori campus of Satakunta University of Applied Sciences was full of energy as we began the first workshop of the CulDif project. A number of young participants, all from different cultural backgrounds, came together, excited to learn about starting their own businesses. These future entrepreneurs from the Satakunta region were eager to find their place in the business world and make a difference in both our region and the wider Central Baltic area.
The first session introduced the CulDif project and its goals. We covered the basics of entrepreneurship—what it means to be an entrepreneur, the benefits and challenges of starting a business, and how to develop business ideas. Everyone was engaged, and there was a real sense of excitement as the participants began to explore what entrepreneurship could mean for them.
One of the highlights was the session on idea generation and self-mapping, where the young people were encouraged to think about their own strengths and passions. It was inspiring to see how their diverse backgrounds gave them unique ideas and perspectives. They started to realize that their differences could be a huge advantage in the business world.
The energy in the room was contagious, and it’s clear that these young people are ready to take on the challenges ahead. This first workshop laid the groundwork for what’s to come, and we’re excited to see where these budding entrepreneurs will go next. They have the potential to make a real impact in the Satakunta region, and we’re proud to be part of their journey.
This is just the start, and we are excited for what lies ahead for these young individuals as they create their career path for the future.
