Cycle4Climate Forum I

Cycle4Climate Forum VOL I: Nudging Behaviours Towards All-year Urban Cycling 19-20 March 2025 Espoo, Finland

Transport is a major contributor to urban CO₂ emissions, and how we move daily shapes the future of our cities. Changing mobility habits isn’t easy—but well-designed nudges can ease the transition.

Cycle4Climate?

Co-funded by the Interreg Central Baltic Programme

Cycle4Climate is a forward-thinking initiative dedicated to transforming urban mobility by shifting the focus from car dependency to a bike-friendly future. Operating across four European cities—Espoo (Finland), Gävle (Sweden), Pärnu (Estonia), and Riga (Latvia)—the project implements targeted interventions and employs continuous traffic monitoring alongside comprehensive travel surveys to assess their impact. By evaluating these innovative strategies, C4C aims to demonstrate how sustainable transportation can effectively reduce CO₂ emissions.
