Seminar on low latency

Four photos, starting from the left: a picture of a drummer playing, a headshot of Ian Plaude the rector of SMI, a picture of a lead singer, a picture of a female bass guitarist playing while singing into a microphone.

We are holding a seminar, in conjunction with our Interreg AURORA sister project ANSEL, on the low latency technology that makes the ACROSS project possible.

On May 19 from 10:00 – 15:00 at Riksteatern in Hallunda we will have demonstrations of the technology along with Sundsvall Teater. You can come and have a hands-on experience with the remote stations, interacting with another 300 km away feeling as if you are all in the same room. Anyone is welcome to come, you only need to register here before May 15th. The full schedule can also be found at that link.

During the day there will be a presentation of real-world examples, a Q&A session, and a time for discussions. The event is geared towards creatives, musicians, researchers and urban planners.
