Applications Are Now Open in Estonia for the SheCanAI Programme

Applications are now open for Estonian participants to join SheCanAI, a Central Baltic programme supporting women in building practical AI implementation skills for the changing labour market.

SheCanAI addresses the growing impact of AI and automation on clerical, administrative, and service roles, where women are strongly represented. The programme aims to help participants move beyond basic digital literacy and gain practical skills for applying AI in real work environments. Across Estonia and Latvia, SheCanAI will train 200 women through a 250-hour programme combining online learning, mentoring, and practical projects. More information about the project is available on the Central Baltic SheCanAI project page.

The AI training provider has now been selected through a public procurement process. The programme will be delivered by PragmatiqAI, an Estonian AI implementation company that helps organisations turn AI potential into measurable business results through expert training, strategic consulting, and hands-on implementation. PragmatiqAI has trained more than 1,500 people and worked with over 30 enterprise clients, including Luminor, Telia, Verston, and the Estonian Environment Agency.

The programme is designed by Andres Gavriljuk, founder of PragmatiqAI and author of The AI Transformation, who has more than 12 years of experience in AI implementation, business process automation, and work with the public, banking, and logistics sectors. The training will be led by a team of experienced AI consultants from PragmatiqAI.

In addition, the PragmatiqAI team brings relevant experience in designing and delivering reskilling programmes. PragmatiqAI’s founder, Andres Gavriljuk, was also involved in founding Cerebrum Hub, a testing-focused reskilling programme in Estonia, giving the team practical insight into how to support adult learners in moving into new technology-related roles.

According to Andres, “The SheCanAI training will be highly practical. It will not focus only on basic AI skills, but will guide participants towards building more advanced agentic AI systems within organisations, with a focus on practical implementation, process improvement, and cost efficiency. At the same time, previous AI experience is not a requirement: the programme includes an introductory module at the beginning to help participants align their knowledge and build the necessary foundations.

The programme is designed to be flexible and can be completed regardless of location. Most of the learning materials are self-paced, complemented by weekly virtual sessions that support participants’ progress, answer questions, and help develop practical implementation skills.Estonian participants can now apply to join the programme.”
