Central Baltic – Azerbaijan Business Forum took place in Pori, Finland
The Central Baltic – Azerbaijan Business Forum took place on 8 April 2025 at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) in Pori, Finland.

The event was part of the 2nd incoming trade mission and organised within the Pori International Week. It brought together professionals, entrepreneurs, and experts from Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Azerbaijan, and other European countries to explore opportunities in education, entrepreneurship, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI).


The forum featured several keynote speeches from well-known speakers and project partners:
- Peter Vesterbacka, Founder of Angry Birds, Fun Academy, and Finest Future, delivered an inspiring keynote titled “Exploring Our International Collaboration.” His company is also actively involved in the LEF Network Azerbaijan project.
- Liga Siceva, representing the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, gave a speech on “Azerbaijan & Central Baltic Collaboration,” highlighting the progress and goals of the LEF Network Azerbaijan initiative.
- Jussi Bergman from SAMK presented “Rethinking with AI,” focusing on how AI can support innovation in both business and education sectors.





Held at SAMK, the forum served as a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, building cross-border connections, and discussing innovative approaches for future cooperation between the Central Baltic region and Azerbaijan. The event welcomed a diverse audience from across Europe and opened new opportunities for business, education, and collaborative projects.
