Cross-Border Learning and Experience Exchange

The “Creative Bloom” mentoring programme is a cross-border project carried out in cooperation with our Latvian partner, the Vidzeme Entrepreneurship Centre. In both countries—Estonia and Latvia—a group of women are working toward becoming entrepreneurs, engaging in creative activities, and one day earning an income from their work.
To learn more from each other and share experiences, we launched regular joint meetings between the two groups, which are held online. Our first virtual meeting took place on March 4th. However, we already knew each other a little—back in January, the Estonian group visited Latvia and met with the women there in person.
During this first online meeting, we discussed a wide range of topics. Everyone had the opportunity to speak about their current challenges, what problems they are working to solve, what they are focusing on right now, and what’s on their desk at the moment. It was also a chance to once again introduce their creative work, products or services, share ideas about the creative industry, sources of inspiration, experiences, and reflections.
Time flew by quickly, and there was plenty to talk about. Participants exchanged experiences, gave advice and shared insights. The meeting offered inspiration and encouragement to move forward with one’s ideas.
We’ve already set a date for the next meeting. The next cross-border learning and experience exchange will take place at the end of April.
