EASWork and Europe Day
The Europe Day fair at Oodi library provided a platform for EASWork to showcase its innovative research project and engage with stakeholders. Positioned within the Interreg Central Baltic’s stand, EASWork had the opportunity to not only interact with representatives from Interreg but also to share insights about their project with a diverse audience.
The event offered a unique space for us at EASWork to step out of our research bubble and connect with individuals interested in our work. Engaging with attendees allowed us to gain valuable perspectives and feedback, enriching our understanding of the broader impact and relevance of our project. The event reaffirmed the importance of community engagement and highlighted the significance of sharing knowledge and expertise with a wider audience.
As researchers deeply immersed in our work, events like Europe Day provide invaluable opportunities to step back, reflect, and engage with diverse perspectives. It’s a chance to not only communicate the intricacies of our work but also to listen and learn from others, enriching the research process and driving innovation forward.
The Oodi library is a meeting point for people from all backgrounds and walks of life and to be able to share our project in a place like that with people who can really benefit from our work was deeply rewarding.
