Fostering Entrepreneurship: Insights from a Two-Day Workshop in Tampere
The two days’ workshop was held by Tampere University of Applied Sciences on 4 and 5 of December in Tampere. The program covers general management and business development as well as human resources. Participants engaged in diverse sessions designed to enhance their understanding of leadership, teamwork, and entrepreneurship in multicultural contexts.
The first day provided a platform for participants to delve into personal experiences, share knowledge, and analyze business challenges and opportunities. Key areas of focus included leadership and teamwork.
Inspiring and informative presentations from representatives of the Tampere Welcoming City development program, Business Tampere and Pirkanmaan Yrittäjät provided valuable insights into regional business opportunities and support for entrepreneurs.
The second day workshop focused on intercultural differences, self-leadership and competencies. Participants explored how cultural backgrounds influence teamwork and leadership and gained a deeper understanding of diversity in an entrepreneurial environment. Hands-on activities encouraged participants to reflect on their strengths and areas for growth as individuals and team members.
The workshop will continue with online sessions in January, covering similar topics to deepen participants’ understanding and further enhance their entrepreneurial skills.
