Management meeting – going forward

EASWork: A Productive Meeting in Beautiful Tallinn

On May 30th, the EASWork management team had the pleasure of gathering in the charming city of Tallinn for a management meeting. It was an incredibly productive session filled with insightful discussions and invaluable face-to-face interactions.

Tallinn’s charm was evident from the moment we arrived and as always, meeting face-to-face made a huge difference. There’s something uniquely inspiring about coming together in person, as this meeting once again showed us.

We kicked off the day with a review of our desktop research, exploring how it’s shaping our project and the impact it has had. It was exciting to see how much progress we’ve made and to plan our next steps together.

Reviewing the interview materials from Vamos, Tartu, and Arcada was another highlight. Sofia, Patrik, Martin, and Olena shared fascinating insights from their work. Hearing these  presentations brought new perspectives to all of us and highlighted the diverse experiences of our respondents The discussions that followed were dynamic and engaging, showing the depth of our collective expertise and once again highlighting the benefits of cross boarder collaboration.

Our session on corporate collaboration was equally productive. We discussed tailored presentation materials and strategised on how to engage with identified companies. It was encouraging to see the commitment from companies to their anti-discrimination policies, and we’re looking forward to working closely with them.

The afternoon was spent planning our work processes with these companies. We set clear responsibilities and timelines, ensuring everyone is on the same page moving forward.

Leading into the final segment of the day, Camilla Wikström-Grotell led the management meeting, going through important updates and next steps We reviewed the outcomes of recent on-site visits and discussed financial follow-ups and reporting deadlines. It was a comprehensive wrap-up that left us with a clear roadmap for the coming months.

As the meeting concluded, we took a moment to appreciate the day’s achievements. Meeting in person had not only facilitated smoother communication but also reinforced our collaboration and shared purpose. We left Tallinn feeling inspired and more connected as a team.

We’re now looking forward to our next online meeting on August 28th, where we’ll continue the momentum we’ve built. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making this meeting such a success.
