New pilot sale in Canada for Adventum Tech!

Adventum Tech, a company specializing in advanced wireless monitoring systems for the construction industry, has secured a pilot contract in the Canadian market. Their new client, Kaneff Group, is one of the largest real estate development and property management companies in the Greater Toronto Area.

We spoke to Adventum Tech about the pilot, their entry strategy, and how Bridging4Growth has supported their journey into a new market.

Can you tell us a bit about Adventum Tech and the new pilot contract you just secured?

At Adventum Tech, we develop wireless real-time structural monitoring solutions that help improve safety, reduce costs and enable more sustainable construction. Our sensor suite includes tools like SlabControl, LiveLoad, TempSense and QuakeControl – all of which integrate with our cloud-based platform liveload.app to deliver clear insights for predictive maintenance and risk management.

We’ve now secured a pilot contract with Kaneff Group in Canada, where we’ll be supplying our latest sensor innovation: SlabControl 5.0. This system monitors structural deformation and load-bearing capacity in real time – making it easier for builders to spot risks early and act before problems arise. It’s simple to install, wireless, and delivers instant data directly to the platform. We see this as a great opportunity to showcase our technology in a market where safety and structural performance are key.

Piercing into a new market can be hard. How did you prepare?

We always begin with thorough research. Every market has its own regulations, standards and expectations – and Canada is no exception. From there, we focus on building relationships: having trusted local contacts helps us navigate more effectively and earn trust faster.

We also make sure to lead with proof. Demonstrating the real-world impact of our solutions through pilot projects, customer feedback and measurable results is essential. And finally, we tailor our communication and messaging to the market – making sure we speak to the real challenges our customers are facing.

How did the Bridging4Growth program support you?

The Bridging4Growth program has played an important role in this process. Through the support of the project mentors, we were able to secure key meetings and present our newest solutions to relevant stakeholders. That access made a big difference.

What’s your top tip for companies entering a new market?

Do your research. Know your market. Know your audience. And be prepared for challenges – because they will come. But if you stay persistent, the results are worth it.
