New sale on the U.S market for 10Lines!
10Lines, a pioneer in autonomous pavement marking solutions, has secured a significant sales contract with a U.S. striping company that serves major clients like Publix. We got an interview with 10Lines to learn more about their company and their new international customer.
Can you tell us a bit about 10Lines and the new sales contract you just secured?
We have signed a sales contract with a striping company in the U.S. The company provides the pavement marking service to different entities for example shopping chains like Publix. We provide the company 10Lines autonomous pavement marking robots that help the company do the job without the manual preparation needed. That means 7X productivity for the client.
Piercing into a new market can be hard, how did you prepare for the new market? (What role did the mentor play?)
We have prepared for the USA market from day one when we established 10Lines. We have been going there many times and talking with the striping service providers. In addition, we visited trade shows, and we were out with the robot in two of them at the beginning of 2024. Market research is one of the main tasks that we have been focusing on and our mentor Eric Butterwick has been helping us out with that a lot. He has connections in the industry and knows the paving and striping market.
How did the Bridging4Growth program support you?
The main support has been through the mentors that the B4G program provides. We have had very good conversations and are looking forward to the delegation visit to the USA market.
What’s your best tip for companies expanding to new markets?
Go to the market right away and talk to the potential customers. Even if you don’t have a product yet, try to sign at least LOI-s or get some proof of interest where there is a signature. This will help with showing interest to others and get into detailed discussions once you are ready with the product.
