Re:Fish at Vene 24 Båt Fair

Re:Fish project took part in Vene 24 Båt Fair 9–18 February in Helsinki. Keep the Archipelago Tidy participated the fair as an exhibitor and promoted the project throughout the fair. Syke was also invited to visit the stand for one day to demonstrate the app used for reporting lost and found fishing gear and to collect information on the areas known for intensive recreational fishing. The feedback from the visitors was very positive, and the project received a lot of interest and support also from the stakeholders, such as fishing gear manufacturers met at the fair.

Vene Båt is the largest boating event in the Northern Europe, focusing on boating, fishing and water sports, and this year it gathered more than 57 000 visitors.
