Social Business Academy Participants Begin Their Journey
Bootcamp in Riga
Furniture upcycling, a workshop for people with disabilities, a cat café, a mental health app – these and other social entrepreneurship ideas were presented last weekend by the participants of the Social Business Academy Bootcamp. 💡
The Bootcamp for Latvian participants was held in Riga, while the Finnish youth gathered in Lahti. Participants learned about social entrepreneurship, shared their insights, and started to develop their business ideas in groups.
Bootcamp in Lahti
In the coming weeks, participants will have online classes where they will learn practical business skills and tools. In March, all participants from Latvia and Finland will meet at the Leadership Camp in Riga.
🤝 The project is implemented by Reach for Change Latvia, Radošās Idejas, Juvenia, and Lahden Diakonialaitos.
This activity was supported as part of “Social Entrepreneurship for Youth Empowerment in Finland and Latvia”, an Interreg Central Baltic Programme 2021-2027 project co-funded by the European Union (SocEntYouth ID CB0100057). The activity is financially supported by the Society Integration Foundation from Latvian state budget funds allocated by the Ministry of Culture.
