Steering Committee Meeting in Riga Strengthens Water Safety Collaboration
On October 3rd, a Steering Committee meeting was held in Riga by our Latvian partners from the Latvian Beach Lifeguard Association as part of the WSM (Water Safety Methodology) project under the Central Baltic Partnership programme.
The meeting brought together representatives from several key institutions involved in national safety and youth education, including the Latvian Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC), the Latvian State Fire and Rescue Service, the National Armed Forces and Information Centre, and the Latvian Scout and Guide Central Organisation.
We are grateful for the strong support and recognition of the project’s importance. The expertise shared during the meeting will contribute significantly to the development of a unified methodology on water safety education for young people aged 14 to 18.
Stay tuned for more updates on our progress and upcoming activities!
