The AI Studio sprint: Startups gathered in Stockholm to further sharpen their AI skills

At the end of September we welcomed the startups to the second sprint of the GSAI (Growth and Scaling Through AI) program. The event, hosted by AI Sweden, focused on practical AI applications and strategic planning to help the companies expand into new EU markets.

Kalle Magnusson and Astrid Sjögren from AI Sweden moderated the days in Stockholm.

“The discussions highlighted the power of cross-border collaboration and the importance of turning ambition into action,” says Kalle Magnusson, AI Change Agent at AI Sweden.

Inspiration as well as hands-on workshops

Inspiration sessions by Theodore Bergqvist (CEO of Turbotic), Niclas Johansson (Data Scientist and machine learning engineer at Tenfifty), Peter Kurzwelly (AI Strategist at AI Sweden) and Dr. Robert A. (Bobby) Bridges (Mathematician and Innovation leader at AI Sweden) provided valuable insights on scaling with AI, practical implementation, and the importance of AI safety.

In addition to inspiration sessions, participants had two workshops: ‘AI Opportunity mapping’ and ‘Project scoping’.
“One of the tools we introduced in this sprint is the AI Opportunity Mapping Workshop – it helps organisations turn ambition into action by building a clear roadmap, prioritising use cases, and aligning teams around what successful AI adoption really requires”, says Astrid Sjögren, Sector Initiative manager at AI Sweden.
