The future of urban transport brought companies to the IMAGINE the Citiverse event

At the end of May, Tampere hosted the IMAGINE the Citiverse event, bringing cities, companies, and researchers together to explore the future of urban life. One of the key themes was smart and seamless mobility—a topic that drew international interest from delegations including Los Angeles and Austin. ITS Finland served as the main mobility partner of the event.

The event’s Mobility Lounge featured over twenty innovative companies, all members of ITS Finland. Visitors—including the U.S. delegations—engaged with research insights, emerging solutions, and real-world pilots.

“Events like IMAGINE help spotlight the role of mobility in vibrant, sustainable cities,” said Marko Forsblom, ITS Finland. “We saw inspiring collaboration between cities, researchers, and companies—where even AI was part of creating more accessible and sustainable mobility solutions.”
