Waste to Value presented at Eskilstuna Climate Summit
The EU-funded Interreg Central Baltic project Waste to Value was recently presented during Eskilstuna Municipality’s annual Climate Summit. The event brings together employees from across the municipal organisation to share experiences, highlight climate initiatives and learn more about ongoing sustainability work.

During the summit, Waste to Value took part in a panel discussion about the municipality’s international collaborations and how circular solutions can support the green transition. The project focuses on turning waste and residual materials into new valuable resources through cooperation between municipalities, companies and research organisations in the Central Baltic region.
The Climate Summit also showcased several local climate initiatives, including reduced climate impact from municipal food procurement and innovation projects within Testbed Eskilstuna.
The day highlighted how local actions and international cooperation, such as Waste to Value, together contribute to a more circular and climate-smart future.
