‘Ways to promote handmade products online’ – the topic of the first master class

On the last day of winter, the project participants met at an online master class conducted by Marina Potjomkina, a well-known creative entrepreneur in Riga and owner of the “Marissa Fleur” studio. How great that she found time to spend the whole day with Ukrainian women!

First, the speaker emotionally shared her experience of creating and developing a business, focusing on the moments that were the impetus for her further steps on the path of entrepreneurship. “Marina’s energy would be enough to operate a small power plant,” – one of the master class participants noted during a break.

Then Marina introduced the audience to the popular platform for selling handmade products Etsy.com. What are the top sales niches today? How to find yours and launch a successful store? How to communicate with clients? What to expect from them and how to stimulate them? How to accept payment? The answers to these and many other questions were presented by Marina in detail, with an emphasis on the intricacies of the sales process and its nuances. She illustrated her speech with vivid examples from the history of several stores on this platform.
