Welcome to the FestiSkills Hunters project materials section. In this section you can find useful materials related to the project.
The FestiSkills Hunters training programme was designed for active people aged 40+ living in remote areas to enhance their skills and knowledge in festival and event management. The programme provided participants with practical skills, innovative strategies, and real-world experience to increase their competence and confidence in organising events and festivals.
The programme started in August 2025 and concluded in summer 2026. It consisted of eight training modules covering key topics such as financial management, marketing, team leadership, crisis management, sustainability, and digital innovation. Each module combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on activities, including business simulations, problem-solving exercises, and step-by-step project development. Participants also gained practical experience through job shadowing at real events and festivals in Finland and Estonia.
Each of the eight modules included a 2.5-hour lecture and 2–4 hours of homework. Online lectures were recorded and made available to ensure accessibility for those unable to attend live sessions. One week after each module, a follow-up meeting of up to one hour was held with the lecturer to review assignments and deepen learning outcomes. The modules were jointly organised by the project partners and delivered alternately.
Experienced coaches and mentors provided personalised support throughout the programme, helping participants set goals and develop their own festival or event projects. The total workload of the programme was approximately 80 hours, depending on the participant’s level of engagement, including practical tasks, mentoring, and final project implementation.
Mentorship was a key element of the programme. Participants received individual guidance while developing their own festival concepts and pilot projects. The programme concluded with final project presentations during the closing event held in Estonia.
All participants who completed at least 75% of the training programme received a certificate of completion signed by both project partners.
