ReSolutions makes the circular economy part of everyday life. The project encourages people to recycle and repair items, try new ways of borrowing instead of buying, and give products a longer life. This means savings for households, less waste for municipalities, and new business opportunities for small enterprises. Communities benefit too, as people discover new ways to share, participate and work together.
Activities
- Inspiring citizens – campaigns, events and stories raise awareness and make it easier for people to join in.
- Borrow instead of buy – pilot Libraries of Things allow people to borrow useful items, helping to reduce waste and costs.
- Sorting and reuse – new collection points and repair workshops ensure that usable items are given a second life instead of being thrown away.
- Innovation and creativity – workshops and innovation camps explore new products, services and business models made from recycled materials.
- Sharing what works – practical guides and recommendations spread the lessons learned to municipalities, companies and community organisations.
