Next steps

The regular projects moving to the second step of the application process will be given a contact person in the Joint Secretariat (JS) after the MC meeting. The JS will then get in touch with the Lead Partner to explain the next steps.

Rejected projects will get formal decisions explaining why they were rejected during November. After this, projects can contact the JS for more information and guidance on what to do next.

Upcoming webinar

Projects preparing their second step application, as well as potential applicants planning to submit for the 4th call for small projects, are strongly encouraged to participate in the Project Applicant Webinar – Budget and Planning. This webinar, which will support you in preparing the full application, will take place on 17 September. Registration is required. Final decisions

Final decisions for regular projects in the second step will be made by the Monitoring Committee in mid-February 2025.

About the calls

The programme received a total of 79 applications in the first step for regular project proposals. After the technical check, it was determined that 32 proposals were submitted for the General call and 47 proposals for the Targeted call.

Each call covered all Programme Objectives but differed in scope. The general call was open to the entire programme area, while the targeted call focused on EU external border regions. All regular project proposals follow a two-stage submission process, with the first stage in April and the second in October (for selected proposals only).
