PULSE responds to the need to make community-oriented health services more accessible, better organised and easier to manage in Estonia and Latvia. Both partner institutions provide health education and community services, but the organisation of these services is fragmented and time-consuming for students, staff and service users. The idea of the project is to strengthen cross-border cooperation between Tartu Applied Health Sciences University and P. Stradiņš Medical College of the University of Latvia by developing a shared digital solution for community health services. The project will create a joint web application that supports the planning, management and use of these services in a more user-friendly way.
As a result, the project will improve access to community health services and support practical learning in both institutions.
PULSE will develop and pilot a joint web application that helps the partner institutions offer and manage community-oriented health services in a more structured and user-friendly way. The application will support service planning, communication with users, and the involvement of participants in practical learning activities. By using a shared digital solution, the project will make community health services more accessible in both Estonia and Latvia. It will also strengthen cross-border cooperation between Tartu Applied Health Sciences University and P. Stradiņš Medical College of the University of Latvia by creating common working practices around the new tool. As a result, both institutions will be better equipped to connect health education with community needs and to continue developing these services after the project ends.
