Timeless Talent addresses the shared challenge of declining work ability among ageing employees in Finland and Estonia, particularly in the industrial, logistics, and service sectors. The project develops and pilots a Work Ability Training Programme that helps employees aged 50+ improve their wellbeing, skills, motivation, and capacity to remain active in working life for longer. The programme combines online and face-to-face learning, peer support, expert guidance, and individual development plans tailored to participants’ needs. In addition to supporting employees, the project strengthens cooperation between companies, experts, and regional stakeholders to promote age-friendly workplaces and sustainable labour market participation. The project’s methods and materials are designed to be practical, scalable, and transferable across sectors and regions.
The Timeless Talent project will improve the competitiveness and work ability of at least 80 employees aged 50+ in Finland and Estonia through participation in the Work Ability Training Programme. Participants will strengthen their health, skills, motivation, and workplace wellbeing through tailored training, individual development plans, and cross-border learning activities. By supporting longer and healthier working careers, the project contributes to reducing labour market shortages and promoting age-friendly workplaces in the industrial, logistics, and service sectors.
The project will also produce practical and transferable training materials, methods, and digital resources that remain publicly available after the project ends, enabling companies and organisations across Europe to apply and adapt the programme in their own contexts.
