First decisions on second call applications to be announced next week

We are excited about the programme’s Monitoring Committee (MC) meeting dedicated to the second call (first) decisions next week. The meeting will take place on 7-8 June 2023 in Tallinn.

During this meeting, the MC will carefully review all small project applications submitted for the second call and decide which to approve for funding. Additionally, the MC will evaluate the regular project applications submitted in the first step of the second call, determining which projects will proceed to the second step application phase.

For regular projects, the submission of second step applications to Jems is between 25 September 2023 and 16 October 2023 at 12:00 (EET).

We will publish the names (acronyms) of the approved small projects as well as projects selected to the second step on our website immediately after the MC meeting concludes, which is expected to be in the evening of 8 June.

The approved projects will be assigned a dedicated contact person in the Joint Secretariat (JS). The JS will maintain close communication with the Lead Partner, providing guidance on how the process will unfold for both small and regular projects. As for the projects that do not receive approval, formal administrative decisions outlining the reasons for rejection will be sent out once the MC minutes have been approved, likely in August. Rest assured, rejected projects are welcome to reach out to the JS for additional information afterwards.

The Programme’s Monitoring Committee is composed of national, regional, local, and social representatives from the participating countries, including Åland, ensuring a diverse and inclusive decision-making process.
