Overview of Fourth Call for Project Proposals: Summary of Received Applications

We have prepared an overview of the received applications in the Fourth Call for project proposals. The first-step submission to Jems took place between April 9 and April 30, 2024. A total of 79 project proposals were submitted to Jems on time, with 38 submitted to the General Call and 41 submitted to the Targeted Call.

The overview of the received applications is based on data entered by applicants into Jems: submitted applications are broken down by Programme Objectives, partner origins, and roles in the applications. Project applications were submitted to improve business development, the environment, employment opportunities, as well as public services; there was interest in all 7 Programme Objectives.

Next Steps

For regular projects, this is the first step of the call for proposals. The received applications are now being assessed by the Joint Secretariat. Decisions regarding the first step of regular project applications will be made by the Monitoring Committee on September 10-11, 2024. The list of regular projects selected to continue to the second step will be published on the programme website shortly after, based on the Monitoring Committee’s decisions.
