Submission Window for Small and Regular Project Proposals Opens Soon

We would like to remind all (potential) applicants about the upcoming submission window for project proposals in the Central Baltic electronic monitoring system (Jems).

Whether you are preparing small project proposals or are among the 40 regular project proposals selected by the programme’s Monitoring Committee to proceed to the second step, this message is relevant to you.

  • Submission opens in Jems: October 10
  • Submission closes in Jems: October 31, noon Eastern European Time (EET)

We are inviting Small Project Proposals with a duration of up to 18 months. The maximum budget for a small project is 213,550 EUR.

We especially encourage the submission of small project proposals for two Programme Objectives, as their results are likely to be achieved with the approach of small projects.

More information: Call for Small Project Proposals (submission)

Please review the Programme Manual and the Guide for Applying for a Project, available in the Key Documents section. These resources provide comprehensive information to help you prepare your application.

  1. Define your project idea:
    • Use the Project Idea Form to outline your project concept and prepare for consultations.
  2. Consultation process:
    • Submit the Project Idea Form to the Joint Secretariat and schedule a consultation. We strongly recommend seeking feedback through consultations, as it significantly enhances your chances of success. Please note that consultations will end two weeks before the call deadline, i.e., on 17 October. After this date, the Joint Secretariat will focus on supporting projects that have already been consulted and addressing their practical questions regarding the application form.

The submission of regular projects is done as part of the General call and the Targeted call. Second-step application phase continues for regular projects which were selected to proceed to the second step.

Decisions regarding the submitted regular project proposals were made by the Monitoring Committee on September 10 and 11, 2024. The list of project acronyms selected to continue to the second step was subsequently published on the programme website: First decisions made on the Fourth round of calls for regular projects.
