Strike Practice in Latvia: Caljan

On February 11th “Your Future Profession” participants visited manufacturing company in Liepaja – “Caljan”.

The young people had the opportunity to be present at HR and “Performance Management” meetings and look behind the scenes at the company’s completed projects, current and planned work, as well as listen to managers’ discussions about the main current issues in occupational safety, quality, production, supply and human resources management. Participants learned more about the company’s structure, variety of positions, HR processes, systems and KPI data, as well as administration premises and production.
