Your Future Profession

“Your Future Profession” runs for 6 months, where 40 young people (18 to 25 y.o.) from Sweden and Latvia will have the opportunity to work with career counselors, mentors, determine their desired future profession, determine personality types, improve their CV and communication skills. The goal of the project is to promote competitiveness and development of innovation abilities, purposefulness, leadership skills, as well as self-determination. Project will provide the opportunity of being acquainted with at least 3 employers (networking and dialogues between counterparts of the labor market), and the possibility to become an employee or a start-up founder.

We will start on the 1st of November with an online kick-off event!

The application for the 1st cycle is closed – tune back in for the 2nd cycle application in March 2025!

Expected results

The project aims to decrease the unemployment rate among young people by equipping them with necessary skills and professional competences. By addressing the issues, the project seeks to have a lasting positive impact on ‘participants’ future career plans and development. Activities aspire to become a booster for entrepreneurial and self-development training in schools, focusing on individual and skills-based personal development. Your future business strives to be a catalyst of change within the professional landscape for young people by enabling them to become more self-sufficient in the labor market.
