Visualizing Success: “Imagine Your Business” Seminar Empowers Future Entrepreneurs
On April 2, 2025, our Estonian project partner hosted a seminar titled “Imagine Your Business” at the Estonian Business School in Tallinn. This marked the fourth event for the first cohort participating in the “Region of Opportunities” project.
The seminar opened with an engaging session led by Julija Bulgakova, project mentor and trainer, who introduced mind mapping and visual storytelling as creative tools for launching and developing a business. During the project’s first event in Riga in January, participants had a brief introduction to mind-mapping and the chance to experiment with it on hypothetical scenarios. In contrast, this April seminar focused on applying the technique to their own business ideas, helping them build a clear, visual roadmap for the development of their future companies.
Next, seasoned entrepreneur Liudmyla Morozova shared her inspiring personal journey. She spoke about founding and scaling a successful international garment production company in Ukraine. Her story highlighted the importance of thoughtful planning and the many processes involved in launching and growing a business.
Equipped with both theoretical insights and practical inspiration, participants then engaged in hands-on work. They developed personalized mind maps and visual stories based on their business ideas — starting with individual sketches and then sharing their concepts in group settings. Throughout the process, they received valuable guidance and feedback from both Estonian and Latvian project partners, as well as from guest speaker Liudmyla Morozova.
By the end of the day, participants had refined their ideas through several iterations of their mind maps and visual stories. It was a dynamic and productive session that provided valuable tools and insights to support their future business planning.
