The project comprises various phases:
Key steps are:
- Testing the required sensors and digital devices
- Defining criteria for the suitability of devices
- Procuring necessary equipment
- Integrating data collected by the devices into existing applications
- Providing guidelines, road map and other documentations
Phase one focuses on selecting essential components and parts. Equipment selection will rely on surveys and expert consultations. Followed by field tests in various environments such as oil test basin and open sea. The outcome is a technical review which leads to investments.
Phase two is integrating sensor datas into existing systems, ensuring that the information generated by the new devices can be fully utilized and is compatible with activities.
Phase three contains cross-border exercises, trainings and pilots, produce operational guidelines and technical documentation for end users and a strategic roadmap. The roadmap outlines the lessons learned and the processes in place, enabling knowledge to be shared and passed on to others.
