Pilot Pips

The labor market in the Central Baltic region is rapidly transforming due to AI, creating both significant demand for advanced technical skills and new entrepreneurial opportunities.
While youth unemployment is a big challenge, many young people lack the business skills to turn these technical shifts into successful startups. The Pilot Pips project addresses this by training 225 young participants to become proactive entrepreneurs capable of navigating the modern economy. Through three international programs, youth will develop essential entrepreneurship, technical, and self-management skills to launch their own businesses, using AI-assisted “vibe coding” as a tool to build products and businesses.

Expected results

The project will graduate 225 youth equipped with strong business leadership skills, startup acumen, and a powerful cross-border entrepreneurial network across Estonia, Latvia, and Sweden. Participants will also learn how to leverage AI programming to accelerate their business ventures. By driving youth-led startup creation, this initiative will directly reduce regional youth unemployment and boost economic competitiveness. These international connections and modern business skills will empower a new generation of innovative European entrepreneurs to successfully scale businesses in the AI era.
