To help young people at risk of unemployment build stronger skills and improve their competitiveness in the labour market, the project successfully delivered eight high-quality training programmes in Latvia and Estonia

10-day training programs

The training program contained

* introduction to woodworking tools,
* maintenance and sharpening of tools,
* material and wood science,
* safety,
* efficient working methods,
* peeling and cutting the wood,
* elaboration of joints,
* erection of timber frames;
* computer class of SkechUp software

which is a tool to make blue prints for the wooden frames

In addition, the project implemented two large cross-border on-the-job workshops in Estonia and Latvia, bringing together participants from previous trainings in both countries, as well as industry stakeholders from partner countries and abroad

Estonia 29.07-09.08.2024

On-the-job workshop was realised in frame of small orthodox churche Miikse in South Estonia renovation putting main emphases on new roof construction elaboration

New OPEN OUTDOOR CLASS ELABORATION for Bulduri Technical school students in Latvia
26.08-06.09.2024

In Latvia in frame of international workplace-based workshop was elaborated new timber frame construction in school garden that in future will serve as outdoor class for Bulduri vocational school staff and students for study purposes.
