Virtual integration home – promoting inclusion and
empowerment digitally (acronym: VINCE)

Project aim and description:

The Virtual integration home – promoting inclusion and empowerment digitally (acronym: VINCE) project develop and improve public integration services for migrants. We want to transfer the communicative, active, and participative nature of individual and group-based integration services into the virtual, digital world.

Project activities:

Over a period of 36 months, the project will develop migration services as follows, among other things:

  1. Create a virtual platform.
  2. Integrate various digital services into the platform.
  3. Involve migrants in the development activities.
  4. Improve cooperation between partners.

The project implements open seminars and events that reach out to organisations that serve immigrants. They provide information on existing services and development needs. Service providers are informed about the possibilities of digital services in both Finland and Sweden. The service experiences of both countries are compared so that service providers can help each other through different perspectives.

Project partners:

Sateenkaari Koto ry (in Finnish)
