The Zebra ScaleUp program, co-organized by Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and Tehnopol Science & Business Park, selected 20 promising growth companies to participate in group mentoring and training sessions. A two-day bootcamp in Helsinki brought together businesses aiming for sustainable success rather than explosive growth. From this group of startups and SMEs, ten companies will be chosen in January to receive tailored business coaching.
Who can join?
We are able to offer our services for new SME’s with scaling up challenges and growth ambitions. What this means is that your company must have started operations in 2017 or after. You must also be a company that will fit the Zebra company criteria or have a strong aspiration for becoming a sustainably growing, mission-driven company.
Zebra companies are unique — they’re both black and white. In other words, they’re profitable while actively working to improve society. Unlike the disruptive, profit-focused unicorn model, zebra companies embrace a “double bottom line.” They balance financial success with positive impact.
We do not have any limitations on your business sector but we do target a special geographical region – the Central Baltic, which consists of the North-Eastern part of the European Union, uniting the Nordic countries Sweden and Finland with two Baltic countries Estonia and Latvia. The second round of project support, consisting of Ecosystem event, Bootcamp, 1-to-1 training and Demo day, started on October 7th, 2025.
