From Central Baltic, with results — A letter from Sustainable Silage

Interreg Central Baltic has supported over one hundred projects since the start of the 2021–2027 programming period. These projects address diverse themes and regional needs, yet they all share one powerful approach: people working together across borders.

Throughout 2025 and 2026, we are pleased to share greetings from selected projects in the form of letters. The letter below comes from Sustainable Silage, a Programme Objective 4 project that uniting partners from Estonia, Latvia, and Finland to develop and test new farming practices to reduce silage‑related nutrient leakage and environmental harm across the full silage production cycle.

This letter was submitted by Silja Lehtpuu, Project coordinator at Lead Partner organisation The Estonian Chamber of Agriculture and Commerce.
