From Central Baltic, with results — A letter from Waste to Value

Interreg Central Baltic has supported over one hundred projects since the start of the 2021–2027 programming period. These projects address diverse themes and regional needs, yet they all share one powerful approach: people working together across borders.

Throughout 2025 and 2026, we are pleased to share greetings from selected projects in the form of letters. The letter below comes from Waste to Value, a Programme Objective 3 project with partners from Sweden and Åland that turns construction and demolition waste into reusable materials to support a more circular building sector.

This letter was submitted by Edvin Salminen, Project Reuse Expert at Lead Partner organisation Emmaus Åland.
