Greenhouse horticulture needs low-barrier, practical solutions for irrigation water reuse. These solutions must be adaptable, cost-effective and practical so they will be accessible to a wider range of growers. These solutions and tools must be adaptable for various greenhouse types, and relevant in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and even beyond. Thus, cross-border approach is essential.
Expected results
Cirriwater will results in two improved circular economy cycles: water reuse and nutrient recovery, both tailored for real-life adoption. Cirriwater gives benefits for growers, SMEs, policymakers, and business support organisations, helping them implement smart, resource-efficient, and scalable solutions.
