Expected results

RenEx is expected to create functional cross-border renewable energy value chains that enable SMEs from the Central Baltic region to jointly enter non-EU markets with integrated export offers. Through competence mapping, matchmaking, training, and trade missions, SMEs will strengthen their export readiness, improve international visibility, and develop practical cooperation models that combine complementary technologies and services.

The project will lead to concrete export results, including new business contacts, pilot projects, and achieved sales in target markets. SMEs will benefit from shared branding, a digital showcase platform, and long-term cooperation structures that continue beyond the project lifetime.

The positive impact of RenEx will extend across borders by connecting companies from Estonia, Finland, Latvia, and Sweden into durable partnerships that increase the competitiveness of the entire Central Baltic region. By accelerating the international deployment of renewable energy solutions such as hydrogen, solar, energy storage, and smart energy systems, the project will contribute to the global green transition while strengthening economic growth, innovation, and resilience in the region.
