HeritageHunters&Business

The aim of the project is to to empower young people in the border regions of Imatra (Finland) and northeast Estonia (Lake Peipsi area) by providing entrepreneurship training that leverages local nature and cultural heritage, with the goal of reducing youth unemployment, preventing migration, and fostering sustainable, culturally rooted economic development.

Expected results

Project includes 3 training programme to young people The training program aims to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to develop business ideas that are using unique assets of the regions—its landscapes, biodiversity, historical sites, traditions, and artistic heritage. This approach not only encourages sustainable economic development but also promotes the preservation of local identity and cultural heritage in both Estonia and Finland.
