The project successfully strengthened the competitiveness of young people in the labour market. Participants improved their skills, knowledge, and practical experience, supporting their readiness for employment and career development.
Participants became better prepared to enter the labour market through improved CVs and communication skills.
Several participants achieved new opportunities of employment, internships, or other work-related opportunities.
Others continued as active job seekers, applying for positions and engaging in structured job search activities with increased confidence and awareness of labour market requirements.
The project successfully reached 80 young people across Sweden and Latvia through both project cycles. Of these, 60 participants demonstrated a clear increase in competitiveness, reflected in improved skills, career readiness, and active engagement with the labour market.

As a key outcome of the project, a practical methodology handbook is currently being developed. It will include clear guidelines, methods, and real examples based on the project’s activities and experience. The handbook will be available in three languages: English as the shared working language, as well as the partners’ local languages – Latvian and Swedish.
The handbook will be accessible to stakeholders, youth organisations, NGOs, educational institutions, employers, and individuals interested in career development and entrepreneurship. As designed in digital format, the handbook will be easy to maintain, update, and share, ensuring long-term use beyond the project duration and supporting continued learning, peer exchange, and entrepreneurial skill development. All partners will integrate and promote the methodology in their ongoing work.
The project aims to decrease the unemployment rate among young people by equipping them with necessary skills and professional competences. By addressing the issues, the project seeks to have a lasting positive impact on ‘participants’ future career plans and development. Activities aspire to become a booster for entrepreneurial and self-development training in schools, focusing on individual and skills-based personal development. Your future profession strives to be a catalyst of change within the professional landscape for young people by enabling them to become more self-sufficient in the labor market.
